Our Story
I am Tawanda Story, and I am the owner and founder of Elderly Care Concepts and Founder of The Faith House Respite Care Home.
As a Geriatric Nurse of 18 years, and a Nursing Home Administrator for 5 years, I've had my fair share of experiences in long-term care. In fact, my passion for the elderly and the care they receive stems from these experiences.
It is my belief that all seniors deserve the best! They deserve a safe place to call home, a clean and comfortable environment, and they also deserve excellence in care and service. After all, they have earned it.
I cared for my father in my home for 5 years after he suffered a massive stroke. I know all to well the need for self care and respite care. I know what it feels like to be that lone primary caregiver. This is why The Faith House exist. To allow families the opportunities to take a break when needed, while knowing their loved ones are cared for properly. Also, to offer an alternative to nursing home placement.
I count it an honor and a privilege to care for such a fragile generation, and I look forward to servicing you.
